dc.description.abstract The pulse jet has been introduce and patented in 1864 by a Russian inventor. The first working pulse jet was invented in 1906 by Russian engineer name V.V Karavodin Without continuous investment after the war, many of pulsejets project were scraped while the turbine jet engine project flourish and continue towards commercialization. Problem arose for pulsejets when the era of peace. The noise that it produces and the fuel that it uses to generate power can never be as good as turbine jet engine. However, during the past few years, with the advancement of new technology in ultrasmall recon vehicle, the research has gained more attention. This is because of its light weight, simple, easy to operate and low cost which can be utilized by many modern generation UAV. The goal of this research is to fabricate pulsejets in certain approach where the pulsejet can trade its acoustic disadvantage with affordable, durable, small and light weight without compromising the thrusts weight ratio generated. Method using material that is light and strong enough to sustain the stress output from the propulsion. Fabricating the metal is subjected to its weight over strength. Using correct length to diameter ratio to obtain efficient self-sustaining combustion and propulsion in ultra-small scale pulsejets. The result obtain in fabricating was successful while in measuring thrust fail due to unreliable method and digital device. en_US
