dc.description.abstract Pollution is the introduction of chemicals, particulate matter, or biological materials that cause harm or discomfort to humans or other living organisms, or cause damage to the natural environment or built environment, and one of the pollution that are highly contribute to pollution is the carbon emission. There are many factor that contribute towards carbon emission problem in aviation industry, where nowadays it is very much concerned such as gases from engine operation and airport waste. This project describes the basic knowledge about carbon, the factor that contribute to carbon graph flow, the sequences of events that happened in each months and the methods in reducing carbon emission by the airlines industry other industries. In addition, the analysis has been made on the trend of the carbon for every months starting from year 2005 until the year 2010. The data are based on the reliable defect record Department of Environment Malaysia at Nilai station and Banting station. Finally, in this project also shows the relationship between the events that can be found from further research on the particular date at each month with maintenance practice that the airlines industry and other industry are using, where certain terms in the data proved that there is good maintenance practice are applied in real life. en_US
