Wooden Propeller Fabrication

Abstract

The idea of this project was originally come out from our discussion with our supervisor, Mr. Md Hanafiah bin Nordin and it is done by our understanding through our studies about propeller with helps from Mr Mujib Ahmad bin Abd Rashid (specialist of wooden propeller). The wooden propeller project is using materials which are woods lives in Malaysia’s forest. This project can be commercializes into industry propeller and help UniKL Miat’s students to understand more about propeller. This project is to explore Malaysia’s market in wooden propeller and to prove that local wood suitable to fabricate wooden propeller. To achieve project’s objectives, several surveys had done to collect information regarding this project. Comparison between materials selection and malaysia’s woods are suitable to produce wooden propeller.
