dc.description.abstract Aircraft Seat Traveler used for almost every mode of transportation ever used by humankind to travel and travelling has been far more interesting nowadays than 50 years before. This was true of beasts of burden, waterborne carriers and wheeled vehicles including railroads. The only expectation do far and furious has been aircraft. Many people believe that aircraft will always be primarily passenger carries as 21st century progress and there is no doubt that the number has been increasing more rapidly that passenger volume for the past two decades. The purpose of the study is to to define the passenger comfort from a passenger‟s perspective and to evaluate the comfort level of airlines‟ passengers Data was gathered by distributing the questionnaires among 200 civilian from 2 major airports for Kuala Lumpur that is Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT). In Malaysia, this two airport representing two major airliner which is Malaysia Airline System (MAS) and AirAsia. The result shows that the factor affecting passenger comfortness is ergonomic of the seat and other characteristic such as cleanliness and IFE system. The comparison is based on passenger‟s perception. As conclusion, the quality of the airline seat will improve further in the near future. en_US
