dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics and behavior of composite and metal which is fiberglass and aluminum alloy. In the aircraft, the part produced by composite and aluminum material are such as wing, aileron, stabilizer, flap, even the fuselage which itself has made from this two materials. In this research, briefly explained and compared the properties and the characteristic between this material and also environment effect to this material. I prepare the speciment test to look differential characteristic of this structure. The seawater test conducted to proof to the study. After seawater test has been done, I also advance to test the specimen to their tensile strength. The discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of composite fiber glass material compared to the metal aluminum will be described. The result will be show in graph and table content. en_US
