Abstract:
The Mechanical Oxygen System Versus Common Chemical Oxygen System In Aircraft

Aircraft has cabin air systems that control pressurization, airflow, filtration, and
temperature. The purpose of these systems is to provide a safe and comfortable cabin
environment, and to protect all cabin occupants from the physiological risks of high
altitudes.
A common danger that would coming around in emergency situation in
depressurization of the passengers cabin which caused lack of oxygen for breathing
that bring hypoxia result.
Designers made some system to compensate that oxygen called chemical oxygen
generators which works very well at that situation but sometimes create some fires
accidents due to high temperature oxygen generated, and also transcending and
storing such chemicals is no danger free.
The Accidents previously happened encouraged me to think about a different
system that can produce oxygen in a safer media called mechanical oxygen
generators.
My system generates oxygen from compressed air of engines and send this
oxygen to oxygen masks for occupant breathing air at emergency cases.
I shall do compare my system with the FAA requirements and policies to be sure
about the validation of this theory.
