dc.description.abstract The study of aerodynamic has been done by human being thousands years ago through sailboats and windmills. This study focus on the removal of the panel that may change the aerodynamic properties of the aircraft. By using computer simulation software, the panel area was constructed in the software. The object constructed was then tested in a Computational Fluid Dynamic software. From the simulation, it will calculate the lift and drag coefficient based on several parameters that has been keyed in into the software such as the type of fluid and formula used to calculate it. Then it will be inserted into a formula together with several other parameters to obtain the distance of the aircraft flown for every kilogram it consume in which will be directly related to the efficiency of the aircraft. From this study, it shows that the higher the flushness of the panel, the lower the efficiency of the aircraft. en_US
