Abstract: | Will Eisner published Graphic Storytelling, in which he defined comics as "the printed arrangement of art and balloons in sequence, particularly in comic books." Eisner's earlier, more influential definition from Comics and Sequential Art (1985) described the technique and structure of comics as sequential art, "the arrangement of pictures or images and words to narrate a story or dramatize an idea.” Wayang is a generic term denoting traditional theatre & performing arts in Malaysia. This traditional shadow play theatre has slowly being forgotten by today young generation. Today’s young generation are more attracted with gadgets and high-tech application including indulging with entertainment from music, films, and many more. This research will mainly focus the development of a prototype model for interactive comic base on wayang kulit features. This research will hope to have an impact towards the appreciation and interest among the young generation with shadow play puppets |
