Abstract: This paper detailing on how to design and fabricate a tilting or parallelogram suspension system to be complied with three wheeled personnel vehicle using equal length double wishbone suspension mechanism with a simple but strong mechanical constraints, a proof model composed of double wishbone, upright knuckle, centre member and front body structure was presented, and to analyze the total deformation and equivalent stress using CAD. Then, the theoretical and CAD analysis results above were successfully applied in the tilting front suspension system while complying with the previous body structure design. In resultant, the selected design gives the best FOS of all three designs and cost in average. The analysis is just on static but still useful for further kinematic and dynamic studies of parallelogram suspension system.
