Issue Date: 6-Mar-2014
Abstract: In this thesis, the study of analysis of riding behavior effect towards and electric bicycle performance. Custom designed electric bicycles allow common issues such as high cost and weight to be overcome. To aim this, customized modeling tools are required. The paper discusses the modeling of an electric bicycle drive system for technical performance evaluation. It is explained how the measurement data can be processed and coupled with the usual model of an electric bicycle system, thereby extending common modeling approaches. This paper gives a systematic, comprehensive, theoretically and experimentally based characterization of electric bicycles, and reports on the different performance requirements.
