Authors: Abdullah Sirajjudin Bin Mohamad
Issue Date: 13-Dec-2013
Abstract: This report presents the mechanical system and development of tapioca slicing machine that is used internal system on this machine. The important aspect of the mechanical system is the machine can come out high volume output and increase efficiency also decrease waste of tapioca enter into internal system. This blade 3mm can be sliced suitable thickness and thoroughly market for industries to our country. The internal of this machine are used 0.5 hp motor DC, 38 inches of belt length, 3 inches of drive pulley and 10 inches for driven pulley. The weight of this product is 40 kg and the material that used for this product is stainless steel. The efficiency of product is 88.7 % and gets more output compare from existing product. The internal hygienic level is decreasing from above 20 gram waste tapioca enter into internal system to 10-15 gram. To analysis this machine, existing machine specification had been taken as a guide. From the analysis and discussion have been made, the mechanical system on Tapioca Slicing Machine created.
