Authors: Mohd Nizrul bin Abdul Khair
Issue Date: 4-Dec-2013
Abstract: Nowadays, the implementation of wireless system in industry become popular because it can save the cost and maintaining compared to wire system. In the agriculture industry, they have also experienced changes in technology. In greenhouse technology, the wireless system widely used compared to wire system especially for monitoring and control of distance and dislocated objects [1]. Nowadays, greenhouses are usually located far away from the owners house and can be 24 hours monitoring. The wired system uses cabling that can make the measurement system to be expensive and vulnerable. When the cabling system is used the measurement points are difficult to relocate once they are installed. Thus, Greenhouse Monitoring with wireless sensor network (G-Mows) consisting of small-size wireless sensor. This project uses a xbee module as wireless to monitoring and control.
