Abstract: Nowadays solar is one of free source that had been used. The country that have hot weather is an advantage because it can used solar energy is main or alternative supply but solar also have disadvantages. Solar are slightly pricy and the power generation only can produce maximum capability on day at peak hour which is 12pm to 3pm. There are an alternative had been made to overcome this disadvantage which is the development of solar tracker. Solar tracker is one alternative that can overcome disadvantage of solar panel by tracking the sun from morning until evening depends on sun position. With solar tracker, solar panel can improve the maximum capability in the morning and evening although the time is not in peak hour. Solar tracker can increase the solar output from 5%-20% depends on the tracker and weather. This project conduct the development of solar tracker on how to build up portable solar tracker by using servo motor and light dependent resistor. The result of voltage, current and power between solar tracker and fix solar panel been recorded in table and the percentages differences between this two panels been calculated for references in improving solar tracker.
