Abstract: The construction industry is a booming industry and remains so with the continuation of the development process especially in developing countries. In this era, the expanding human population leads to the higher demand for shelter, either repairing of any existing building or making certain alterations which also comes under the construction industry. Concrete is mainly composed of cement, water and sand. It is a prime element in any building constructions. Creating a good quality project with the most time-saving and low-cost way has become a concern for these building developers or contractors. The typical cement mixture machine and cement mixture lorry which uses the revolving drum to mix the components homogeneously are already available in the market, however, this project can save more time and energy as the cement mixture is created using PLC. This project will facilitate the process of concrete development rather than when mixing the cement manually. It would also ease the workers to make bricks or any custom bricks as well as when being used by others in the factory and construction department. In this project, the design of a low-cost cement mixing machine. The materials used to create this project are as follow; PLC, solenoid valve, water pump, motor forward and reverse, motor, push button, sand, water, and cement, etc. Materials selected in this project were justified, as the result obtained was positive. This project had successfully achieved the objectives since this project explores the innovation in preparing cement with the purpose of assisting contractors. It would help to save more time and energy since the programmed are done and can run the cement mixture just by pushing a button. Thus, labor requirements and cost could also be reduced.
