Abstract: Purpose of this study is to identify the behavioral factors of business owner on their intention to use solar energy technology for their business premises. This study conducted among SMEs in North of Peninsular Malaysia. The conceptual framework adapted based on Theory of Reason Action, Technology Acceptance Model and Adoption, Innovation and Diffusion Theory. A sample of 136 respondents was systematically selected from a population of 214. Data was analysed use SPSS software. This study revealed that SMEs owner willing to use solar energy technology for their business premises when they feel easy to handle or use the technology. An equation model of intention behaviour to use solar energy among SMEs was developed based on Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Eased to Used, Acceptance of Innovation and Subjective Norm.
