Issue Date: 11-Oct-2017
Abstract: This project which is Wireless Smoke Detector is a project that created by myself Luqman Hakimi Bin Husaini and supported by my supervisor which is Sir Imran Bin Mohd Sofi himself for my final year project title. This project is focusing on designing an electronic device including developing system and the body structure. The objective of this project is to develop and make an improvement in electronic. To achieve this, this project which is Wireless Smoke Detector needs to have all the criteria including the aspect of safety and low-cost device. For making this project a success, the flow of work should be done started by designing and making analysis. This project also gives me an opportunity to apply my knowledges and skills in using electronic components and construct it. In this project, the most important thing that I had to manage is time management. This is because to make sure the project is construct correctly according to the plan. Therefore, overall from this project is to make a better project and be disciplined for finishing the project. Wireless Smoke Detector is based on the interfacing some components such as sensors, electronic components, and also for the wireless, I’m using RF Module. The function is to detect smoke in the average of 100m with a motion sensor for safety purposes if there were any danger or emergencies in a building such as household, school, shopping mall etc. This project also has a buzzer that can trigger if there any burning happened in a building. The sensor has a motion detector which can detect smoke in average of 100m. Therefore, this project is kind of safety project for making the world more safety and secure from fire burning or other emergency cases.
