Title: Finite Element Modeling And Experimental Testing Of Joining Fastener (Aircraft Rivet) For Patch Repair
Authors: Nuraliza Binti Noorawzi
Issue Date: 7-Mar-2013
Abstract: The purpose of this project is to prove that the experimental testing of joining fastener in the aircraft structure application is proven by using Finite Element Modeling. This research will be divided into two parts which namely how to make joining fastener using Finite Element Modeling and prove calculation that get from the experimental testing of joining fastener. The first part which focuses on finite element modeling that use Abaqus software. This software is tried to find the joining fastener structural analysis itself by referring experimental testing that previous student done it. The second part is to prove that the result that we get from experimental testing is same what we do using Finite Element Modeling. I hope this project will help the personals who want to know more about Finite Element Modeling and also how to use it.
