The main purpose of this project is to develop an application that will be used to monitor PPG of a person that can also be translated as monitoring heartbeat. The smartphone’s application is developed using Basic4android language to display the received heart rate signal. Easy pulse will be used to measure the heartbeat. The output from easy pulse will be read by Arduino and calculate the heart rate before transfer the data through Bluetooth to the smart phone application. The result of heart rate will be view through the application on mobile device. This project is a portable device so it will help the user and doctor to monitor the heart rate in more efficient way.
