dc.description.abstract Friction Stir Welding (FSW) was introduced in 1991 by TWI in Cambridge,England, as a solid-state metal joining process as alternative way of welding of materials. FSW is recognized as method of joining dissimilar metal. The research work is carried out in order to achieve the following objectives which are to investigate the influence of shoulder diameter on the weld quality on dissimilar aluminium alloy. en_US
