dc.description.abstract The main objective to be achieved in this project was to study the correlation between the controlled water flow rate and the amount of solar heat that can be absorbed and transferred through various water pipes. This project is mainly focused on the domestic daily used. Rather than that, a study had been conducted on various types of water pipes materials in order to optimize the solar heat absorption. In this study, three types of water pipes with different materials and compositions had been chose, which are brass pipe, polyvinyl chloride pipe and transparent plastic pipe. A similar design with an equal length of pipes had been formed to be tested in an experiment with two different manipulative factors. The two manipulative factors which had been controlled to obtain the desired results were the water flow rate and the degree of the pipes positioning. In other hand, this project was also developed in supportive to the greenhouse technology concept by taking an advantage of using the natural solar source as the main heating method for heating water in daily household use UniKL en_US
