Abstract:
This paper introduces the design and development of a multifunctional
portable wagon equipped with a novel scissors lifting mechanism. The portable
wagon is designed to address the diverse needs of users in various settings,
providing a versatile solution for transporting goods, equipment, and materials.
The incorporation of a scissors lifting mechanism enhances the wagon’s
functionality, allowing users to easily adjust the height of the platform for
efficient loading and unloading. The design focuses on ensuring the”wagon’ Is
compact, lightweight, and easily maneuverable, making it suitable for both
indoor and outdoor use as the current portable wagons lack the adaptability
required to efficiently transport various loads, hindering productivity, and
posing challenges in environments with frequently changing operational
demands . The scissors lifting mechanism is engineered to provide stable and
controlled elevation, accommodating different load sizes and weights. The
wagon’s framework is constructed from durable materials found from the
product benchmarking, and QFD to ensure longevity and reliability in diverse
working environments. This project is aimed to improve the design of
multifunctional portable wagon with scissors lifting to be presentable a practical
and adaptable solution for industries, businesses, and individuals seeking a
versatile and efficient means of transportation. The integration of innovative
design features is receive from the CSM results. The final design from CSM
enhances the overall usability and flexibility of the wagon and are to develop
3D model of the multifunction portable wagon with scissors lifting using
Inventor design software, making it a valuable asset for a wide range of
applications.
