dc.description.abstract The Internet of Things is quickly leading to a revolution in the healthcare industry, which is fueled by the proliferation of new companies specializing in healthcare technology. The project's objectives have been established in order to accomplish the project's expected result. The focus of this project will be on designing a system to store marine workers data over period of time and health monitoring system to measure body temperature and heart rate. Then, to test the performance in the term of functionality of health monitoring system by using Arduino. Using ESP8266 and Arduino, we will need to develop an Internet of Things (IoT) based marine workers monitoring system for this project. Blynk is the Internet of Things platform that is being utilised for this project. Blynk is an open-source application and application programming interface (API) for the Internet of Devices (IoT) that is used to store and retrieve data from things by employing the HTTP protocol either via the Internet or through a Local Area Network. This Internet of Things device had the capability of reading the pulse rate as well as measuring the body temperature. It keeps a constant watch on the pulse rate as well as the temperature of the environment and sends any relevant data to an Internet of Things platform. en_US
