dc.description.abstract Boiler water level sensor is used in boilers to measure the water level inside the boiler. Besides, it is also used to control the feedwater pump of the boiler. The boiler water level cannot be too low or too high from the normal level. If the water level is too low, there could be a risk of boiler tubes ruptures or even explosion and if the water level is too high, the efficiency of the boiler is dropped hence increasing the fuel consumption. In the older times, there is no boiler water level sensor is used, to measure the water level, operator needs to manually check the water level through the sighthtglass thus increasing the risk of operator to hazardous environment and increasing the crew needed to operate the boiler. To educate the students about the boiler water level sensor, a teaching aids is needed to make sure the students can easily understand the working of the sensor. The teaching aids usually did not consist of complicated equipment and systems like the actual, so it would help the students understand easily. en_US
