dc.description.abstract This project was given title “Portable Lifter” focuses on innovation in fabrication of product which can help us to lift load from one place to another by the help of trolley which attach with electromagnetic and vacuum lifter. This report portrays the review of the sorts, how, and result of works done by the students of the Final Year Project for Diploma Engineering Ship Construction and Maintenance.The project aims to facilitate and save time for lifting loads either at workshops or on construction sites.The main purpose of making this project are user-friendly, safe and portable. This is very important if we need to lift the load but the forklift does not exist then this product will help us without damaging or disturbing its structure. In addition, the project also has special features that allow it to lift various types of material. This is because, electromagnetic devices can help lift metal while the vacuum lifter can lift glass, wood and aluminum. This shows that this project is very efficient if we want to lift the load. The highlights of this item are high quality of material, simple to utilize and ergonomic to guarantee the item can convey the load. The goal of this item is to make items that can be utilized to take care of issues in working environments and workshops. Last but not least, I hope this product can contribute in the industry by advancing plan from existing items besides to improving the highlights of the item with more improvement with the safety features and user friendly. en_US
