dc.description.abstract Water quality usually can be recognized from the colour, turbidity, smell and other characteristic that can be seen easily. For more satisfying result for water quality is by check the quality with certain parameters. From the result of experiential, researcher can help them to make a conclusion or else had the result they want too in environmental impact to living things also impact to the nearest area. These days, maritime operation activities can be one of the biggest factor in water quality problem that start from their various activities held at nearest shore. Lumut Water known as one of the location for maritime operations that held in Malaysia Peninsular. As an example, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (UniKL MIMET) were located near by the river at Sungai Dinding, which active with several types of activities such as an education hub and ship maintenance. Other than that, there is Lumut Yatch Club, where run activities such a ship maintenance and rental tugboats services. From these kind of maritime operations, there will be an environmental impact from such activities to aquatic living and human. Based on the observation made by researcher, the water quality may had an impact from maritime operations that held in Lumut water also recommendation can be made by the result in the end of this project could help the impact to be decrease in Lumut Water. en_US
