PETRONAS DAGANGAN, LUMUT DISTRIBUTION ROUTING OPTIMIZATIO

Abstract

Petroleum Nasional Berhad, also known as Petronas is a mega company based in Malaysia that produce Oil and Gas from rigging and refinery. They are headquartered at Kuala Lumpur, and they have many other branches of operations. As for Lumut branch, they are importing petroleum product from the other country such in the Middle East and Saudi, and the product will be selling at Petronas petrol station around Perak region. The product that been imported is suitable for the common transportation on lands such as cars, trucks, and train. This project of distribution optimisation is about Petronas Dagangan that been located at the Lumut, Perak where they did the storage and distribution process. Petronas Dagangan Lumut, need to distribute their product which is petrol and diesel around Perak, Malaysia. This project will show the correct way to optimise their transportation operation using Route Choosing Optimisation Methodology.
