dc.description.abstract The surface of Earth is majority covered by water that about 71 percents. The busiest industry and less cost for delivery of good is by sea. From that, the maritime industry especially in port is face increased challenges and competitions among ports in the world. All the process at port is mostly involving the human. Their working must be flow smoothly and environment must be good. One of the major anchor for them in getting those request in their work life is their leaders. Leadership is the ability of an individual to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute towards the effectiveness and success of the organizations of which they are members. Therefore, this research will focus on Leadership in Maritime Operations and the study is at Lumut Port Sdn Bhd, Perak. This research might answer it. Work experience in industry will give a different insight into which management practices are seen as desirable for future maritime or port leaders within a port global industry en_US
