SUBMERSIBLE ON TAPE TEST USING WATER TUNNEL

Abstract

Paint adhesion test has been used many times before and on many kinds of surfaces. Adhesion testing also has many types of tests such as scrape test, pull off test, peel test and tape test. Tape test is particularly easier to conduct than another kind of tests. In this case, students try to conduct one themselves in order to test the adhesion of the paint given. In the meanwhile, students also want to find the suitable SOP that can be used with the least equipment. SOP is most important because in order to do tape test, the specimen needs to be prepared correctly using the suitable equipment.
