This Final Year Project (FYP) was carried out to analyze the water distribution
area along with the water consumption for port operation and even personnel in Lumut
Maritime Terminal. Chapter 1 is an introduction that will explain briefly about the study
topic that is going to be conduct. Under this chapter, there have sub-chapter which are
overview of the topic, the aims and objective of the study and the problem statement.
Chapter 2 is literature review that will touch and explain about the topic with more
detail facts. The resources and statement will be taking from the journal, professional
research article, books and websites that discussed the point that contain inside the
topic. Chapter 3 is methodology which using normality test, regression analysis and
Pearson or Spearman correlation. Chapter 4 is result and discussion while Chapters 5 are
discussed on the conclusion and implications regarding the research. Port has been
developed based on the knowledge and technology of the vast development of offshore
floating platform. Primary function of port is to act as provide a facility for receiving
ships and transferring cargo. A dependable supply of fresh water is essential for any port
operation. The operating and maintenance personnel in a port also require a stable and
unwavering supply of fresh water to meet their essential daily needs. The water
distribution area in Lumut Maritime Terminal is not being fully utilized as Lumut
Maritime Terminal only focusing on certain area in providing water supply for
operational usage. |
