DESIGN OF SHIP FLOATING DRY DOCK BY USING SIMULATION SOFTWARE

Abstract

This report emphasizes the method to design a new type of floating dry dock where it is improved by adding hull to the vessel which is mono hull and twin hull. The purpose of this report is to gain more knowledge on this new type of vessel. The design is carried out by using Autodesk Inventor 2015 software. At the end of the project, this report contributes the understanding on how to design a ship floating dry dock and learn more about the difference between floating dry dock with and without hull. Ship floating dry dock is a new type vessel which should be introduced to maritime student.
