THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SAFETY ON MATERIAL HANDLING WITHIN INDUSTRY

Abstract

Safety is the most important element that all people must alert at everywhere whether at workplace. All workers are entitled to work in environments where risks to their health and safety are properly controlled. In heavy industry there are many risk that cause injury and loss of life because the workers must work with an equipment’s, machine or while using material handling. Material handling simply refers to the handling, storage and control of materials in a workplace. Material handling is about using the machine in the activity such as crane to loading heavy storage. But nowadays, there are many risk while using material handling equipment. It is the critical issue at workplace in order to protecting the welfare of employees, providing a safe work environment and controlling construction costs.
