dc.description.abstract This research is based on a study of selection and recruitment procedure of new employee. The study were conducted to know how human resource management able to select and recruit the right people to be hired in the organization. The main objectives of this study is to know the best sources of recruitment during hired new employee and the selection criteria that applicants choose to apply a job vacancy. Through this research, the selection and recruitment new employee able to analyse at four marine related companies. Furthermore, this study can be concluded by using two methods for completion of the thesis. The methods were interview session at four different marine related companies and readings relevant journals and articles from relevant websites. The four marine related companies are Lumut Port, JuruManjung Sdn Bhd, MTU Sdn bhd and Boustead Naval Shipyard. All companies were state in Manjung area. en_US
