Abstract: This research represents the discussion made towards online assessment towards self-efficacy readiness within higher institutions/academic committee. The overall purpose of this research is to analyze the academic committee’s perception in using online assessment for the learning process. This study was implemented via online method using ClassMarker software as a tool of learning. In this experiment, academic committee, which includes students, academicians and non-academicians from three private higher institutions located in Malaysia were chosen. A pilot test was also conducted to determine academic Comittee’s perception and also to ensure that the questionnaire used is reliable. Based on the finding, it shows that the self-efficacy readiness among the higher institution, students towards the online assessment is moderate.
