Abstract: Blindness Is A Lack Of Vision. It May Also Refer To A Loss Of Vision That Cannot Be Corrected With Glasses Or Contact Lenses. Blindness May Cause From The Diabetes, Glaucoma Or Macular Degeneration. This Visually Impaired Person May Have Difficulties To Do A Day Routines And To Live As A Normal Person. Normally, This Person Use A Blind Stick Named As White Cane As Their Aid To Their Movement. As A Cheap Things, It Is Helpful When They Walk But It Cannot Be Very Useful When It Comes To Identifying Distance Of Object. Hence, The Development Of This Project Is To Create A Cheaper Device Which It Purpose To Assist The Blind People In Identifying Object And Distance. This Is A Project That Called As Hand-Mounted Sonar Assist For The Blind Which Is Using Haptic Feedback On The Wrist Of The User. It Is A Device That Measures The Distance To Things And Translates That Into Vibration And Pressure On The Wrist.
