Abstract: | Now a lot of useful technologies day out to make our lifestyles more comfortable, easier, luxurious and safe including all the advertisement now will be in digital display. This GSM Based Advertisement Display Board project gives best solution to replace the present paper based with advanced electronic advertisement board system. Advertisement board plays a vital role in offices, in shops, railway station, bus stands and in educational institutions. This project is designed with wireless technology that is global system for mobile communications (GSM). The heart of this system is microcontroller. This will receive data from GSM modem using universal transmitter and receiver (UART) and update this message on Led dot matrix 48x8 board through same UART only. We are using the GSM technology to access the display’s is one of the new technology in the embedded field to make the communication between microcontroller and mobile. This project is a remote advertisement board with modem connected to it, so if the user wants to display some messages, he will send the messages in Short Message Service (SMS) format and from modulator-demodulator (Modem). Modem is a device that modulates an analog carrier signal to encode digital information and also demodulation such a carrier signal to decode the transmitted information. Modem in the display system will receive the message and update the display according to the message. |
