dc.description.abstractCorrosion behavior of zinc oxide-polyester based for different layer of coating on A36 mild steel was investigated by using weight loss method and its physical appearance. Samples were tested in two conditions by immerse in seawater and leave in natural surroundings. There is slight difference of corrosion behavior from both tests. Sample tested with the least coating layer b y immersion test experienced higher corrosion rate compared to others. The physical condition of the samples was recorded to observe the appearance of the corrosion on the samples each week along the experiment. Small differences of immersion in seawater a nd surrounding parameters causes the corrosion behavior of A36 mild steel from both tests to be same where all the observation recorded shows the same pattern.en_US
