Title: A Study Of Ship Hull Resistance in Bow Thruster Tunnels.
Authors: Marshall Minggat Anak Antak @ Ampi
Issue Date: 1-Dec-2014
Abstract: This thesis is a study about the interaction of the bow thruster tunnel towards the ship hull in the way that it affects the total resistance of the ship. The use of bow thruster had increased the manoeuvrability of the ship itself in term of moving in transverse direction, as for example ship docking at a harbour. There are two principal when it comes to designing a bow thruster. The first criteria when designing a bow thruster is to establish the required thrust to move the ship efficiently in transverse direction.
