Abstract: Electronic data interchange (EDI) can be simply defined as an electronic transmission of standardized business documents between trading partners with little or without human intervention. Electronic data interchange (EDI) system are practices paperless environment which are reduce of document processing and storage cost but increase the accuracy and fewer error. Now a days, all the international ports are congest and busy with the export and import activities of shipment. Because of that, most of the freight forwarder needs an efficient and effective system in order to transform and do the documents transaction with the zero error and increase accuracy. However, until now it do not have the evidence or proof that show either the freight forwarding companies as a users are satisfy with the electronic data interchange (EDI) system. Because of that, this research need to determine and rate the level of satisfaction of EDI system in order to improve the electronic data interchange (EDI) system for future use. In addition, this research also are to investigate either Malaysia Custom still are implement 100% paperless concept for custom form.
