metadata.fyp.dc.description.abstract: This thesis deals with instrument system test on K200 MOMOTO engine functionality by using Arduino C++ programing software. The objective of this thesis to develop a instrument system for the engine by using Arduino sensors and C++ programing software. The thesis describes the K200 MOMOTO engine to convert the engine to aircraft engine. There is no instrument is install on the K200 MOMOTO engine. To convert the engine to the aircraft standard engine, this engine need to have aircraft standards engine instrumentation system and digital indication system. It is important to determine the aircraft instrument requirement for standard aircraft engine instrumentation, so appropriate modification can be made before the construction of the model. The prototype instrument system was develop by using Arduino software and C++ programing . The strategy of prototype instrument system was developed. The instrument system was then develop using four sensor, arduino board and C++ programing software. The prototype system was testing to get the reading. Finally, the sensor is mount at the different location of the engine to be test. The result is obtain from the sensor reading for idle reading and full throttle reading. From the results, it is observed and compare with actual reading of the aircraft propeller engine. The result will show that the K200 MOMOTO engine can convert to aircraft engine. If the result is close or same with the actual reading of aircraft engine, therefore the K200 MOMOTO engine can convert to aircraft engine. This prototype system can also significantly reduce the cost and inspection time, and improve product reliability.
