Title: Design And Develop Powered Paragliding Trike

Abstract: In this project, the main idea is to develop and design the powered paragliding trike with install the motorbike engine. The problem is the production of trike sell the trike in high price. It very expensive and some people not afford to buy this trike and some material to build the strong trike is heavy and material that light weight is high cost. This engine also is not designed for powered paragliding. Therefore, the objectives for this project, first to design and build the cheap and affordable powered paragliding trike frame and second to design and build the engine mounting for Suzuki TXR 150 engine. In preparing this project, there are some limitations that need to be considered. To design the trike, we must use the material that strong, light weight and not expensive. That give limitation to choose the material and MIAT not have enough facility in workshop to build this trike according to my design. The process and method for this project must be consider in order to achieve objectives and aim of the study. First, to build the powered paragliding trike frame is structure the design at the same time choose the material. To support the design, the stress analysis must be done so that the design can be fabricate. From the result and discussion, that design and develop using stainless steel 304 for the trike paramotor frame is success. Although stainless steel had highest weight compare to other three material, it price is lower than other and strong material. This can be seen from all result whether in finite element stress, stress calculation and load testing. The paramotor trike frame shown that it can withstand all the force that applied. As a conclusion, all the 2 objectives are accomplished
