Abstract: This project is called Development of Attendance Management Algorithm for Analyzing Rate of Absenteeism or AMS is using RFID device. This paper describes the development of a student attendance system based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The existing conventional attendance system requires students to manually sign the attendance sheet every time they attend a class. The develop AMS is stand by attendance management system project goal is to record attendance more easy and faster. Highest technology device used to develop project which is Microcontroller, Motion Sensor, RFID reader, RFID card and Smart GLCD. The RFID reader is when scan used RFID card the RFID reader will save code of the card and it just receive 125 kHz transponder. The microcontroller is all the databases will save at temporary storage that is EEPROM and control the next process. It also control the database when press save data push button the microcontroller will transfer all database to memory SD card is already storage into EEPROM data. Motion sensor is very sensitive device is detect movement object. The motion sensor will send signal to microcontroller to save the Date and Time data after detect the object. Smart GLCD is just display the logo and start button to turn on the RFID reader to get ready to scan and following the process. Finally, is take out the SD card to upload attendance, the result the Hex code but need to covert to become Dec code after that also can upload the attendance as graph to shown the percentage of attendance student.
