metadata.fyp.dc.description.abstract: This temperature control for electrical vehicle car battery can be control by using a microcontroller when it detects certain temperature that has been set in the microcontroller program. The purpose of this project is reducing high temperature in the battery compartment because when heat is circulating in the battery compartment it will reduce the battery voltage and also to prevent waste of voltage usage when it is not hot enough for fan to be need or turn on. This project is combination of direct current (DC) motor fan, microcontroller (PIC), and temperature sensor. To complete this project there few steps need to be taken which are the selections of temperature sensor, power supply, DC motor fan, design controlling circuit using PIC, developing source code for PIC and use suitable apparatus to design all circuit. As the conclusion this project is to design and construct an automated DC motor fan system using temperature sensor which is controlled by microcontroller to produce air flow for the purpose of reduce high temperature, prevent waste of voltage and produce air flow for the ventilation and exhaust in car battery compartment. The DC motor fan will turn on according to the certain level of temperature.
