Abstract: In this project, the main goals are to fabricate a compressed air engine from an industrial air compressor and to produce 0.8 kW power output. The reasons for this project been carried out because need to study on compressed air engine as preliminary work for steam engine or stand alone compressed air engine and to find another way to reduce the damage by find an alternative energy source. The project will started but need to do some modifications on the piston and fabricate a control valve. After the modifications completed, the output can be measured. The results that will be tested are the performance and power output of air compressor as a compressed air engine. If the project runs as what had been planned, further study can be conducted on the control valve to improvise it.
