dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the design, analysis and fabrication of Formula Varsity Sport Car wheel knuckles/uprights. The aim of this project was to design upright that will have formula style racing car characteristics which were lightweight, precise and accurate dimensioning and tolerance, and adjustable features which was very important in racing world. Two designs were designed for both front and rear uprights. Static analysis was done in terms of braking and cornering for all four designs and the best design selected for fabrication process for each front and rear upright. The fabrication process has been done using conventional lathe machine, wirecut machine, and conventional milling machine. The uprights will be used on future Formula Varsity Sport Car.en_US
