metadata.fyp.dc.description.abstract: This paper presents a study on tuning method of PID controller for control Dc motor position. The design of controller is implementing using a small DC motor in PID tuning method based on Arduino Uno board and Matlab. Basically this project focuses on the PID controller method used to control the motor position to desired angle. This project used the real time dynamic system, which used the 12volt dc motor and the controller is designed to control the dc motor using matlab software. The result obtained is comparing different controller which is PI and PID controller using try and error method tuning method. to test the different tuning method, Ziegler Nichols is used to compare the result. Ziegler Nichols was add the root locus method to improve result obtain. The purposes of the project are to design a system for positioning dc motor, integrate hardware into Matlab software and to test the tuning method to compare the result.
