Abstract: This project is about a device that can measure the temperature surrounding and also measure the humidity of the air. This project is a simple project that everyone can understand. It uses components which are knows and mostly used by people. This project describes an inexpensive technique of using the LM 35 sensor for measuring temperature and the HH10D for humidity. It uses the PIC16F877A microcontroller to read the sensor output and display the results on a 2X16 character LCD. It can be explained in a very simple way that this device itself works where the temperature and the humidity is detected. This temperature and humidity meter is operated using a 12v Dc battery. It can measure temperature from 0C to150C and humidity from 0% to 99%.When the sensor output is read it will display in on the LCD. There is a voltage regulator because it helps to protect PIC and other connected sensors / actuators from over voltage. This is because PIC and all other connected sensors, actuators all support 5V DC only. Over voltage will cause any of the module burn.
