Design of Small Scale Wind Turbine

Abstract

This report contains the activities and result on final year project semester July 2012 and the product named “Small Scale Wind Turbine”. The report has been divided to five categories which are chapter 1 introduction, chapter 2 literature review, chapter 3 methodology and chapter 4 implementation the project and lastly chapter 5 conclusions and recommendations. Chapter 1 is an introduction that will explain briefly about the study topic that is going to be conducted. In this chapter, there are two sub chapters which are overviewed of the topic, the aims and objective of the study and the problem statement about the existing product. Chapter 2 is literature review that will touch and explain about the topic with more detail facts. The resources and statement will be taking from the journal, magazines, books and websites that discussed the point that contains inside the topic. Chapter 3 is methodology. This chapter will explain the method or the procedure of the fabrication topic. The purpose of chapter 3 is to make sure the project will be carried out properly according to the planning and schedule. Each step needs to consider the availability of the machinery tools and materials, and the equipment required for the processes. iii Chapter 4 is result and discussion of the project which is explain about the analysis of the product and explain about the problem and solution during fabrication process and the final result about the product. Chapter 5 is discussed on the conclusion and implications regarding the research.
