Authors: Azhari bin Abu Bakar Sidek
Issue Date: 3-Dec-2013
Abstract: In night driving, normally people will always use hi beam headlight when they reach at the dark area to see more clearly. But when the opposite vehicle came to us, some people didn’t want to make their headlight to the low beam mode. So our eyes will dazzle by the strong hi beam headlight from opposite vehicle. The idea is to make the headlight turn in hi beam mode and low beam mode to automatically mode. When the opposite vehicle coming to another vehicle, from hi beam headlight mode. The sensor will tell the circuit to make a change from hi beam, to low beam using relay. Otherwise, when there is no opposite vehicle, the low beam mode will change to hi beam mode. The main points in this project are, reducing vehicle accident because of the high beam headlight making eyes dazzle. Second is using sensor as an input and relay as an output with the PIC as the controller. And the last point is from the research, accidents reduce and the driver is feeling more safety by using this type of system.
