Abstract: The project is developing a device that can analyze the air fuel ratio, where the oxygen sensor is function to detect the emission system, such as carbon monoxide, oxygen, nitrogen oxides and unburned hydrocarbon produced by the four stroke engine. The sensor is calculating the gas produced by the engine and the ECU will know the air fuel ratio is rich or lean. Available market product have an external devices where can calculate and display the reading. As for that, this study could develop and produce the product which is called engine monitoring system. With the assist of Arduino Leonardo, Minitab, and basic wiring the programming for the display unit on LCD had made it possible. The combination of information from the sensors and the programming for the Arduino Leonardo had made it success with a little help from the artificial intelligence department. This is all about for display the reading of air fuel ratio by using the wide band sensor. The sensor has five wires CWith both sensor information which is the air fuel ratio and knock sensor the display had shown accurately, the engine monitoring system had been compare with the after market product and it seem to be same reading. Hope for the future project the continues will upgrade the display quality and became as a tuning devices.
