Abstract: Lately, numbers of unemployed graduates has increased and become quite an important concern for the higher education around the world. There are debates on what causes this problem and how can the government overcome this problem. Thus, to address this issue, this study examines the various engineering employability skills seek by the Malaysian industries towards engineering graduates. This paper will put forward a list comprised of the skills needed by the industries and compare it with the Program Objectives (PO) and Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) of UniKL MFI. advertisement. These employability skills are used to prepare graduates for the employment nowadays and in the future. This study suggests that the engineering graduates should acquire and demonstrate a set of generic skills such as communication skills, teamwork, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
